i am a tiny spec of dust on this macrocosm that is the internet, but 

there is a serious lack of community in my area for making art especially now that it's summer (i'm a student.. alienation's a given)
i'm going to try and be more active on here

i may or may not have somewhat of an impersonal nature to begin with (on the internet especially, since posting online might as well be compared to signing yourself up to be watched by a drone)
i also wanted to say, with all the shit that is happening right now in the world it's hard to find direction and motivation for school, work, personal endeavors etc. when it's so easy to be preoccupied with the terror that is consuming our everyday 

so that being said

some kind of distraction, i don't know, it would be nice to talk..

as my first journal entry... i'm not sure how to begin..

thank you for the positive feedback lately. it means a lot.

i have some time off from school now that it is winter break.

i hope to work a lot on my art, photography and poetry...
not to mention enjoy the fresh snow we have here right now.

i feel winter is a good time to do self searching.

being so caught up with other things,
it's easy to forget that sense of who you are...

and with everything in nature dying, there is a chance to start over 
to get to know the aspects of the self that have become hazy and unfamiliar.

i hope life is being kind to you.
